Is the volunteer schedule asking too much?
Use this as a conversation starter before adding another service or program. It estimates total capacity; training, suitability and overlapping roles still need a person’s judgment.
Capacity before commitments.
A full schedule on paper may still depend on the same two people covering every absence. Look for a sustainable pattern with room for illness, work and family.
Start with one ministry, such as welcome or refreshments. Safeguarding roles require your church’s appropriate checks, training and supervision.
